New Featured Kit - Be Yourself

It's time for another 'featured' kit at Two Scrapbook Friends! Our kits are so popular and move so quickly so we are really trying to come out with new ones on a regular basis!!!

This week Shelby has created a kit entitled 'Be Yourself'!  It is a 2-page layout with a beautiful combination of papers, stickers, corrugated cardboard accents, buttons and  more!

There is room for lots of photos!

It works for almost anything!

Copic Card Workshop - This Thursday!

How did everyone enjoy the first long weekend of the summer?  Wasn't the weather awesome?  The problem is, it always goes by so fast.

We are back at the store and in full swing again.  Our blog was filled with lots and lots of new products last week, so if you haven't had a chance to visit us and check them out, be sure to stop in.  You can also view them (and place orders) through our online store.

This week we are holding another great Copic Card Workshop using some brand new stamps from Stamping Bella!

This workshop is the perfect opportunity to add 3 gorgeous cards to your collection! You will work with these amazing images (stamps are available for sale) and bright colourful papers to tie everything together.

Each card features a die-cut word tab as the sentiment!

We have also added some stitching (which is optional) for a little extra detail.

This workshop is perfect for the experienced colour artist, or for beginners. Joanne will walk you through the colouring process, step-by-step, and help you to perfect your shading techniques.

Tips & Tricks - Pinterest - Washi Tape

Wow! We are having so much fun sharing these great ideas with all our friends. This is the third 'share' from us this week and we are super excited about this one.

 

Washi tape is one of our favourite things and there are some really great tips and techniques using this fabulous product in this video that we pinned!!!  

There are also some really great ideas using 3x4 card sheets like the one below!!

Tips & Tricks - Pinterest Style!

We are back again today with another awesome idea from Pinterest!

Simple Stories has a very strong presence in our store and we love the 24/7 collection!!!  Yesterday we found a great video using a sketch from PageMaps and this collection.  A perfect combination.

You will find some great techniques in the video too!  She shows how to use metal border dies and stretch them to a 12-inch border.....she uses pens to add details to her page.....and even how to cover up a 'mistake'!

New Pebbles - Lakeside!!!

Back again with another new collection!!!!  This time it is from Pebbles - Lakeside!

Icons of canoes, wildflowers and camping gear in forest green, salmon pink and brilliant blue are grounded by organic brown and chalkboard black. Complimented by gingham, polka dots, woodgrain and florals, Lakeside is ideal for remembering sweet, summer days spent outdoors.

Crate Paper - The Pier

Shelby has been busy unpacking boxes and filling up the store with lots of new products.  One of the new arrivals is from Crate Paper - The Pier!

The Pier is full of adorable summer icons including popsicles, beach and pool must-haves, carousels, ice cream cones and balloons. Not only are the colors yummy, but the collection is full of adorable kraft paper and gold accents to make the summer palette pop!
