I am sure it was an exciting morning for most of us. The first day of school always brings mixed emotions for me. It signifies the end of summer, but brings routine. I get to spend less time with my kids, but spend a little more time doing some of the things I enjoy.
As I sit here typing this, the house is very quiet. Everyone has left for the day. I have showered, cleaned up breakfast, made lunches and organized dinner. If this were a summer day, I would still be in my jammies and who knows when we would get around to eating breakfast.
