Friendzy Friday with Corrina

Friendzy Friday with Corrina..Fiskars Craft Knife

One of the things I really enjoy about attending scrapbooking retreats is finding new and exciting tools that I have never used before.

At the TSF spring retreat I was introduced to the Fiskars Fingertip Craft Knife and was sold.

I had always found it difficult to cut out flowers from pattern paper to the precision I had wanted. I am also a big fan of chipboard. Prior to using the Fingertip Craft Knife I would trace the chipboard design on the pattern paper, cut it out, then glue it to the chipboard.

I don’t know that there was ever a time that it ever lined up properly! The Fingertip Craft Knife solved that problem and removed the step of tracing. Now I just glue the paper to the chipboard and use the Fingertip Craft Knife to cut around the chipboard. I love the precision you can achieve with this tool.

It is what I used to cut out the flowers on this layout

I have a fingertip craft knife and am very happy with it. I could never get enough control with the old exacto knife. For those that do not have one it is wonderful!!
